Concerns

Concerns

Where a parent has a concern the following procedure is laid down:

  1. Meet with and discuss any problems with the class teacher and refer to our Complaints Procedure.
  2. Consult the Head teacher, and through the Head the member of staff to discuss the concerns raised.
  3. If this process has not been satisfactory, consult the Chair of Governors (Rev. Rebecca Sparey-Taylor) who can address your concerns to the Governing Body.
  4. If you feel that further action is needed then contact the LEA.

The school asks parents whenever they have worries or concerns, no matter how small, to talk to the school, where every effort will be made to seek solutions to the problems presented. The school staffs are usually available to discuss with parents any concerns at the end of the school day or at other times by appointment.

The school strives to be a welcoming and friendly place for both pupils and their parents. By sharing concerns and working together to find solutions, we hope to build effective home school relationships, working together to provide effective teaching and learning.
