The school has, over the years, been well served by its Parent Teacher Friends Association. The P.T.F.A. meet regularly after school to plan fund raising and social events and as well as generating much needed income and contributes much to the ‘home and school’ partnership. New parents to the school are encouraged to come along and join in P.T.F.A. events.
The PTFA , Parent , Teacher, Friends Association is exactly that! A link between the parents, friends and teachers within our school with a common aim of wanting to create the best possible learning environment for our children.
The PTFA ‘s role is as a fund-raising body to help put the “cherry on the cake” for the children at school hopefully having some fun on the way. Every parent is welcome to attend. Meetings and events are promoted on the board outside school easily seen when we are collecting children . Agendas and minutes of the meetings will be displayed on the board for all to see.
We aim to encourage as many parents as possible to come along and help.
We have already achieved some great results in the last few years and we look forward to achieving many more.
Please feel free to come along to the meetings or phone me with any ideas you may have.
