Trefnant After School Care
Trefnant After School Care is based in the school hall and is run internally by Miss Nia Bates our 'Person in charge' at Puddleducks All Day Care.
The aim of the Club is to provide out of school care for children in Ysgol Trefnant and Puddleducks.
The Club runs daily from 3.15pm – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday during term time. We cater for children aged between 2 and 12 years old. We are registered with the CSSIW to care for a maximum of 19 children. We operate a 1 to 8 child to adult ratio, for over 3 year olds, in order to comply with the national minimum standards, and 1 to 4 for 2 year olds.
We are an English speaking service and offer activities through the medium of English. We do however offer support to the children in whichever language they choose to use.
We offer activities to cover the full spectrum of child development, from dancing to keep fit, outside play to board games. We aim to make our activity programme inclusive so that children of all abilities can take part.
We aim to provide a stimulating recreational and educational programme of quality play activities for children in our care.
