School security is overseen by the Governing Body. Cllr Meirick Davies is the Governor responsible for Health and Safety issues and carries out regular inspections of the building.
The main entrance, top entrance and playground doors are all locked during school sessions. Parents wishing to gain entry must ring the bell at the main entrance and wait for a member of staff to let them in.
Pupils are supervised by a member of staff during breaks and by the DRA at lunch times. A separate secure playing area is used by the nursery pupils.
All games and gym equipment are inspected annually and defects rectified.
The Clerk of Works visits as requested to put in hand repairs and maintenance needed to keep the building and playground in good repair.
