The School and community
The school has been part of the village community for over one hundred and fifty years. It is an asset for the village to make use of, not only as a place for children to receive their formal education but as a meeting place for wider community activities. At present, the school provides the meeting place for the Guides and Brownies, in addition to the local Badger group, community council and the Church Sunday School.
