Pastoral Care
The small number of pupils in classes enables the teacher to have close contact with each individual, with regard to general well-being and attitudes displayed by pupils. This enables them to exercise pastoral care effectively and naturally.
When pupils are unwell they gain every support and if necessary parents are contacted to take them home.
Staff are trained in child protection procedures and together with the school nurse generally oversee each child’s welfare and health. Parents should be aware that they can have access to the school nurse throughout the school at any time.
