Mrs Susan Dick was appointed Headteacher of Ysgol Trefnant and Ysgol Llanbedr from September 2023. She was previously the Headteacher at Ysgol Bodfari from 2011 to 2023. The Headteacher works closely with the Assistant Headteachers in Ysgol Trefnant and Ysgol Llanbedr and the Federation Governing Body to ensure consistency and collaboration across the Federation of Ysgol Trefnant and Ysgol Llanbedr.

Mr Siôn Davies – Ysgol Trefnant

Mr  Davies was appointed Assistant Headteacher and ALNCo (Ysgol Trefnant) in September 2023. He previously taught at St. Anthony’s Catholic Primary School in Saltney, near Chester and prior to this, just up the road at Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog. Mr. Davies is wholeheartedly committed to help strengthen the relationship with our federated school, Ysgol Llanbedr through collaborative events and projects. He truly believes that a school belongs in the centre of the community and will strive to develop and maintain an environment that is nurturing, safe and inspiring.

Mrs Sharon Lloyd-Thomas – Ysgol Llanbedr (ALN Co-ordinator and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead)

Mrs Sharon Lloyd-Thomas was appointed as Assistant Headteacher and ALNCo (Ysgol Llanbedr) in November 2024. She previously taught in Essex for over 24 years, in a number of schools having a variety of responsibilities ranging from a class teacher, Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher before moving back home to North Wales with her family in August 2016. Mrs Lloyd-Thomas is committed to our school that sits at the heart of a small village, where every child feels a deep sense of belonging. Working in collaboration with Ysgol Trefnant is an exciting opportunity to develop this concept of Cynefin, embracing both federated schools community heritage, culture, and values, creating a supportive and inspiring environment where children grow with confidence, resilience, and pride in their identity as part of the Federation.
